Google Mini, Google Talk Chatback, Google Video and iGoogle are Axed!
Google is considered a pioneer in search engines and on how to earn more by leveraging the internet. Google wants to sustain being a pioneer that’s why every innovative idea that is coming in the internet, it’s either they will make the same service or product, or they will acquire a similar company to compete with it.
Few weeks ago, Google has revealed that Google Mini, Google Talk Chatback, Google Video and iGoogle are all slated to be discontinued. Well, don’t take this announcement in a wrong way. It’s not like Google is weakening — they’ve thought already what would be the next best thing for them to exist.
Reasons for shutting down some of the products is because — either it’s being redundant, which means other Google product is already offering, or they already acquired a much-familiar product that will make richer. Example is Google Video — they already acquired YouTube. What is Google Video again?
