RIM to cut 5,000 jobs, delay new phones
This is a bad news for Blackberry users and for those who will be cut. The economy hasn’t fully recovered from the recession experienced back in 2008. Now, it’s up to us people if we’ll stop striving because it looks like the world is starting to stop revolving – I mean figuratively.
Struggling BlackBerry maker Research In Motion Ltd. revealed Thursday that its business is crumbling faster than thought. The Canadian company posted worse results for its latest quarter than analysts had expected. It’s cutting 5,000 jobs and delaying the launch of its new phone operating system, BlackBerry 10, until after the holiday shopping season.
