Drew Barrymore’s Good Moves: She’s Getting Marring and Having a Baby
For those who’ve known Drew Barrymore, I mean for those who watched Biography Channel and so happened it was her life-story being aired, you will agree that getting married and having a kid are inevitably her virtuous moves. Drew Barrymore, having famous family and acquaintances (Steven Spielberg is her godfather), was a rebellious kid. It was in 1995 that she got her feet together and came back as the real Drew Barrymore we loved in E.T.
She got married again on Saturday, June 2, 2012, this time to art dealer Will Kopelman and son of former Chanel CEO Arie Kopelman; and the private wedding ceremony was attended by some of her celebrity friends. This is Drew’s third marriage — previously married bar owner Jeremy Thomas in 1994 and gonzo jokester Tom Green in 2001. But this is the first time that she’s having a kid at her age of 37.
As confirmed by People that day, Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman tied the knot in front of their families and friends at Drew‘s estate in Montecito, California in a “classic but simple garden-inspired Jewish wedding ceremony”, designed by celebrity wedding planners Yifat Oren and Stefanie Cove.
According to the report, among Barrymore‘s celebrity friends present during the wedding include Jimmy Fallon and wife Nancy Juvonen, Busy Philipps and her husband, Reese Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth, and Cameron Diaz.
Back in January, Kopelman reportedly proposed marriage to Barrymore in Sun Valley, Idaho, during their 10-day vacation; and the engagement ring was confirmed to be a work of chi-chi London jewelers, Graff Diamonds.
Congratulations Drew!
