Rebecca Francescatti sues Lady Gaga for alleged ‘Judas’ copyright infringement

First the big wohaha with Madonna and Born This Way, followed by Bette Middler and her mermaid claim, and now a Chicago based singer, Rebecca Francescatti, whom we haven’t heard before is accusing Lady Gaga of stealing a large portion of her song “Juda” to be used for Gaga’s 2011 song “Judas”.

Rebecca Francescatti claims “a substantial similarity between” her and Gaga’s songs and is “looking for court’s intervention to help her obtain unspecified damages along with the cost of legal proceedings.”

And you can listen to “Juda” here.

Total rubbish honestly! I don’t hear any copycat on both songs!

I love one of the comments on the blog I read:

Gaga even stole Amy Winehouse’s face and her name came from the song “Radio Gaga” by Queen.

She’s more of a klepto than Winona Ryder! But it’s okay because I don’t pay for Gaga’s songs. I download it for free, so I guess we’re all theives! lol

I’m including this on the Funny category!
