Craig Ferguson: Will sue a French TV Show which copying his show?
I was on a holiday for few days. Of course, I love it – getting away with my normal demanding work-life. But, I don’t like with having days-off, I’ve been missing a lot of shows I avidly watching in YouTube. For instance, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
So you may asked, don’t you have internet on your hotel? You can use your flamboyant iPhone to watch in YouTube and be updated with viral videos and trending tweets. Well, apparently, we checked-in in a five-star hotel, but with the whining sounds of mosquitoes during the night, a fully-booked spa counter and NO WIFI!
Gladly, Malinky2Stoatir never fails to upload the most recent videos of the most-wanted, eccentrically funny late night TV show host, Craig Ferguson.
So, I watch the most recent videos – aired on the 22nd of November, 2010. Craig is quite mixed-up, a little disappointed, and mad but still trying to be funny on what he found out. Ce Soir Avec Arthur (Tonight with Arthur), a French Talk Show copied Craig’s opening credits; the dancing puppets and the fountain and the microphone! They aren’t only dancing puppets — they used SAME PUPPETS!
Craig said on his monologue, “You can’t steal from us!” he screams. “It’s like stealing pants from a hobo. We don’t [EXPLETIVE DELETED] have anything!!” He’s still trying to make fun of his own show! 
Like what Oh No They Didn’t stated on its blog (I just like what has been stated – well, apparently I don’t have any idea on how the American-French relationship went on):
Look, France and the U.S. have an arrangement. We mock them for being snobby; they mock us for being boorish. They give us the Statue of Liberty, we save them during World War II. Those are the rules; it’s fair and balanced. But stealing the ‘Late Late Show’ theme throws the whole thing out of whack. This will not stand!
One of the guests, Ben Stein, encouraged Craig to sue the French TV Show. He was saying that if Craig can show proofs that he was seriously damaged by this, he can sue the French! Well, I hope CBS will really pursue to sue — for the sake of talking about it. Craig will certainly agree on that!
