I might sound proud but pessimistic at the same time because I dunno what in store for Charice on the most watch TV show in America. First, Charice is Asian and a Filipino – very prone to prejudices. Second, Filipinos are emotional and sometimes, our patriotism is really out of the way and become irrational. And third, we are ambitious to be recognized as one-hell-of-great talent to look out for! What I’m sayin’ is, it is really hard for Charice, at such a young age to both get the big popularity and pressures at one go. Well, I’m hoping David Foster or Oprah Winfrey will not allow that to happen.
