There were rumors that Willie Revillame will return as host of ABS-CBN’s noontime show, ‘Wowowee’. The speculation was supported by confirmation of his daughter, Meryll Soriano, that her dad will soon go back to his day-job. Although, no official statement from the station about it — but the TFC subscribers and even those loyal Kapamilya viewers are vividly expressing their opinions.

Today, there’s an Official statement from ABS-CBN that took us by surprise. ‘Wowowee’ will be replaced by ‘Pilipinas For the Win’, a game show which will be hosted by Kris Aquino. Everyone was surprised by this importunate decision by the ABS-CBN management. Aside from Aquino, “Pilipinas For the Win” will also be hosted by Robin Padilla and “Wowowee” female hosts Pokwang, Valerie Concepcion and Mariel Rodriguez, said Bong Osorio, head of ABS-CBN Corporate Communications. Pokwang burst to tears because she might have thought that she will not be part of the new noontime show.

There are undeniably intensive reviews and considerations on what would be the next step after the inappropriate behavior of Willie Revillame. It really caused a lot of emotional and moral wreckage not only of those people who continuously believe on that show – but like us, TFC subscribers, who felt the deep shame. We don’t deserve such obnoxious entertainment — and besides, we’re paying!

Well, I hope Willie Revillame learned his lesson. I can’t imagine that he’s earning PhP1 million pesos each day and all he cares about is his one-crappy-ego.
