Charice’s performance of ‘I will Survive’ was remarkable and unforgettable — for both Filipinos and Koreans who witnessed that few years ago. I can see the admiration from Super Junior’s faces! God, they are cute!

The Star King performance was the same video from YouTube that Ellen DeGeneres’ writers saw that encouraged her to ask our dear Charice to come to US and perform. It was the combination of exaggerated reactions from the Korean crowd and the awesome jaw-dropping singing voice of talented young girl who dressed in pink and in pony tails. And the rest was history.

Well several years, David Foster, Oprah Winfrey, Ellen and a few albums later – -CHARICE as she is now known internationally, went back to Star King and performed and giggled with Mr. Kang. I always laugh whenever I hear he’s saying, UNBELIEVABLE!. I might love this show — they really jokingly admitting that they are poor in English conversation. I love the humor of these Koreans.

Thanks Star King for believing on Charice’s talent three years ago. This brought all the fortunes and prestige that Filipinos now are receiving —- and Charice is one representation on how grateful we are!
