Are you a fan of Stephenie Meyer? Are you one of those I’ve known that this is the first time they heard the name Stephenie Meyer?

Char: Do you know Stephenie Meyer?

Friend 1: Who’s that?

Char: the Author?

Friend 2: Oh, Stephen King?

Char: No, the one who wrote Twilight?

Friend 1&2: (In chorus) I thought that was written my JK Rowling

I made that up. I have nothing to write – that’s why. Honestly, that’s what initially comes on my mind every time I discuss about Twilight. Ideally, the author should be more famous, and then the actors that portray the character on his/her imaginations will follow. But, in Meyer’s case, it’s the other way around. Robert Pattinson made her famous.

Regardless if you’re a fan of Twilight or not, if you know Stephenie Meyer or just pretending to know, there’s enormously no holding back on the continuous popularity of each and everyone connected with this Saga.  Later this month, the third tale of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan, Eclipse will be in theaters. But before that, Stephenie Meyer will release her book ‘The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner” on 5ht of June, 2010.

Bree Tanner, in case you don’t read Twilight and just watch the movie, is featured in the third book of the series, Eclipse. This will be written from Bree’s viewpoint, similar to Midnight Sun – it is Twilight but on Edward Cullen’s point of view.

I do believe that Stephenie Meyer’s marketing strategy is indeed respectable. She knows when and how she’ll ablaze the hungry audience. She also, I assumed, has an endless mind’s eye about the world she created in Twilight. Bravo! You’re the second author I adore (next to JK Rowling, of course).

So, those who are interested, grab a copy of this novel, watch out in Amazon and wait until it’s available on iBook for your iPad.
