Charice: To Glee or not To Glee
There were tittle-tattles about Charice will appear on the famous Musical TV Show, Glee. It was reported by Perez Hilton yesterday that Charice, a Filipina International Pop Star, signed on as a series regular for the coming season of Glee.
However, the same updates from Perez Hilton, taking it back that IT WAS NOT CONFIRMED YET.
Well, that’s a start. Once the fire has started, let’s just wait for the rage and smoke. It is a good time though to make ‘Charice’ and ‘Glee’ together on one show. I mean, Charice is famously topping up the chart for her single ‘Pyramid’. Not to mention, she’s not an American nor Caucasian – who out of nowhere popped out on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Oprah Winfrey Show, which makes her so interesting. While ‘Glee’ has becoming to be the most-watched TV show for all ages.
I’m wondering and worrying how Sue Sylvester will behave and treat an Asian (Filipina, so to speak).
Be careful Sue – we’re done with Claire Danes calling our country “smelled of cockroaches” and Teri Hatcher with her famous dialogue “some med schools in the Philippines.” Well, what can I say, we are emotional and sensitive. What do you expect for the third-world country who literally striving for survival to react?
Anyway, enough of this argument. What we are rooting for is for Charice, the Filipina YouTube Sensation to be on Glee, right! Let’s wait and see.
