Char Reyes Kelly Clarkson (the first American Idol winner) joins her fellow winners on the American Idol stage as part of a farewell performance to judge Simon Cowell on Wednesday (May 26) in Los Angeles. I’m getting goose bumps while watching and thinking that Simon will not be part of American Idol. And Paula was sitting on Simon’s lap.
The 28-year-old original Idol winner started off the song “Together We Are One” and was followed by Ruben Studdard (Season 2), Fantasia Barrino (Season 3), Carrie Underwood (Season 4), Taylor Hicks (Season 5), Jordin Sparks (Season 6), and Kris Allen (Season 8). Season 7’s David Cook apparently had a charity event in Kansas City.
