I remember this post on my multiply blog last year (Feb 8, 2009) and I definitely can reckon how awful and full of disappointment I had that time. It was like, a figuratively bitter-sweet to begin with –> Why? Well, let’s just say I was not celebrating Valentine’s Day because I was single but never heart-broken. That was better, rather than get a chance to celebrate this day and be heart-broken afterwards. Yay! I’m defensive. Anyway, that time, I listed down Top 10 things to do on Valentine’s day — if single ka! It’s up to you now how are you going to celebrate “The Heart’s Day”!
Isang malalim na buntong-hininga… HAAAAAY! Another special day ng mga lovers na naman ang dadating. So, hinde na naman ako kasama sa magcecelebrate nito. Wahahahaha.
Anyway, ganun talaga…. Sabi nga nila… Hinde lahat ibinigay sa’yo ni Lord. So, isa to sa hinde binigay ni Lord sa kin… ang ka-date sa Valentine’s Day! Tulog ata si Cupido! So sa mga single like me, the first thing we should do: Recognize that you’re definitely not the only one. According to U.S. Census Bureau estimates that more than 80 million people will spend this holiday as single. Yahoo! Marame kame! So, if wala kang ka-date on this day, ano ang mga dapat natin gawin:
- Magmukmok sa bahay, magmarathon ng DVDs ng favorite romantic movies – in short, lalong gawin depressive and day na ‘to.
- Maglasing – lalo na pag kakabreak pa lang sa jowa.
- Magpretend na ito ay ordinary day… lilipas din to.
- Makipagblind date. Humanap ng mga kakilala na may single friends.
- Kung walang single friends – aba.. maghanap!
- Mang-agaw ng bf or gf. I know, bad idea ‘to… and not encouraged… pero possible to nangyayari.
- Bumili ng chocolates and flowers –> ipadeliver sa office (mainggit ang mga mahaderang officemates!)
- Go to Chinatown! Celebrate Chinese New Year Instead.
- Pumunta sa mga party for Singles…. Have fun… Socialize! Celebrate singlehood!
- Schedule a date with your best friend, sister or brother, mom or dad! Sino ba nag-limit na pang lovers lang ang Valentine’s Day
Ako, di ko pa lam ang gagawin ko this Valentine’s day… but definitely, I won’t deprive myself to celebrate… it’s a Heart’s Day for Godsake
Ikaw, may kadate ka ba? Or gagawin mo yung mga na-mentioned?
Anyway, these won’t apply to me —> Kasi may ka-date ako sa Valentine’s Day!
