I dunno what was into me last night that I forgot that it was actually the American Idol 9 Premiere! This week started with the auditions in Boston and Atlanta. I should be excited about this because the guest judge was Victoria Beckham, also known as Posh Spice of Spice Girls. I love and hate VB for having Becks on her life.

It wasn’t so bad I guess, knowing Paula isn’t part of the show. Well, I know you’re going to agree that when Paula was around, she was repetitively annoying in doing repetitive comments and reactions. But now, I think we miss her. 

So, I wasn’t able to watch live the Boston Audition. I did a search in YouTube and I already have my personal favorites both from Boston and Atlanta Auditions.

I like Luke Shaffer. He seems an “Almost Famous” cast. But, I cried over Vanessa Wolfe’s Audition in Atlanta. She jumps bridges which I think is sooooo cool! (I can’t even think to do that!) She’s authentic  sounds like Paula hmmmp! I just love her audition.

I’m quite happy that American Idol Season 9 has started. But, what I don’t understand here, they will always come up with a “weird-slash-not-too-funny” audition and make a big deal out of it. I’m talking about General Larry Platt who sang “Pants on the ground”. I don’t get it! Maybe the joke is too western – I’m Asian! Ha-ha! But the general is so energetic! He dances, sings and raps!

I love Mary J. Blige by the way, as the guest judge.
