Reading time: 2 – 2 minutes
I’m not a shopaholic. I’m not also an impulsive buyer. I’m not a brand-conscious either. In short, I’m just one-of-a-heck human being that Shopping Malls are wishing won’t exist. I dunno why, maybe because I experience how difficult to earn money! Ha-ha!
But, when I came of age, wherein I don’t care anymore how much it will cause me to buy stuff. When I say stuff, I mean branded, high-end, genuine European or American brands. Now I understand Rebecca Bloomwood in Confessions of a Shopaholic.
So, since last week, I feel like I want to go shopping and I was accompanied with my friend Grace, who’ve been Rebecca’s followers for very long time ago (even before Sophie Kinsella created Rebecca)! Peace Grace Yay!
We decided to go to biggest mall so that we’ll have tons of stores to choose from. I already have in mind on what I’m going to buy, which vividly be useful and necessary for me to buy. But, of course, until the last tic-tac, I didn’t have any! We did some sorts of shop hopping. But in our case, we won’t get out without a paper bags with a big glaring name on it, or the credit card’s magnetic strip experienced friction against the magical register!
While carrying those bags, we felt like flying. We’re in ecstasy that no one can provide us with the same heart beat and joy. OMG! I’m totally a Shopaholic, for real!
The next question now is, will we receive letters from Derek Smeathe? WE CAN PAY! But, maybe — we’ll receive letters but not from Derek Smeathe — from William Spencer (Citibank CFO) perhaps!
I am a shopaholic! Why do you care? Maybe you too, you’re just in denial! Ha-ha
