Is May the month wherein all the reality shows end? After the breath-taking victory of two Chinese-American siblings, Victor and Tammy Jih, in Amazing Race, now we’re about to behold the American Idol Season 8. Who’s going to win? Do you have your bet now?

From day-one that American Idol was aired, I honestly don’t see any bright future to the wannabes. Maybe, because A.I. didn’t entertained Fil-Am to join the anticipated reality show this season. Unlike before, when Jasmine Trias or Camille Velasco were making clamor in the 50 states, my whole world has been converged to the song choices, Simon Cowell’s judgmental shrewdness or stammering Paula Abdul and balancing words from Randy Jackson. I had the same feelings towards the Ramielle Malubay mania but felt frustrated at the same time. It was somewhat you’re totally agreeing with Simon – “You are forgettable.” The two things that keep me on following A.I. are the infamous words of Simon and the metaphorical praises from Kara Dioguardi. Ryan Seacreast is really old. The lines on his forehead are getting prominent every week.

I’m recollecting the last week’s remarks and they are giving us the impression that they want to have the First Gay American Idol. The souls of George Michael and Elton John are amalgamated in one physique with thick eyeliner and pointed tongue. There’s no harm if we let Adam Lambert win the clash. I have this idea that Americans want a semi-unique entertainment that will revolve to monotonous music-planet-industry. But, the big question mark is, can Adam sustain the mysterious stereotyping he embed on us? Can he be better with the shrieks and surprises he managed to give credits to his unsung soul of unpredictability? Anyway, I would rather have Adam than the Jekyll and Hyde of the Idol. I still can’t figure why Allison isn’t on the Top 3. Phew! That’s why, in my thoughts, I have my own TOP 3 finalists!
