I am a huge Marvel Comics Fan. Not really. I don’t collect comics or whatever memorabilia. I’m just fond of joining the fad of being enthusiastic on comics-superhero-turned movie-icon. When Spiderman started its sequel, I can’t help but watch over and over again until the next installment was shown. X-men, however, are fascinating, especially if you’ll going to see star-studded portrayals of extraordinary people with extraordinary power.
X-men Origins: Wolverine is a prequel of the three successful X-men Trilogy. I love Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) on that movie (which I always do… in all movies), that’s why I’m pretty excited about it. But then, I was surprised on spread of links across the whole world wide web of this movie….. and in HD quality. I thought this will be shown on May 1st in US and even later on the rest of the world.
So, my housemates open the links, connect the PC to the 40” LCD Samsung TV and grab some tidbits to get ready for an anticipated movie of the year. But they noticed, it’s like watching a video game. The first thing we noticed, when the Korean-American artist throw his guns and supposed to reload them perfectly to shoot the enemy… but he’s only holding the gun reloader. Another incident is, the usual-arrogant-look of Ryan Reynolds while using his sword to magnificently shield every bullet. The funny thing is, you can see the invisible rope that helps him to jump and do some stunts. Darn! It should be an INVISIBLE ROPE.
We managed to finish the unfinished or I should say, unedited movie. We found it great and still another reel to remember. However, it was quite disappointing that this unedited version leaked. I mean, admittedly, we support free-online movies. But the reason we do ‘coz we’re just practical and not to spend a 10-dollar-movie that you’re going to forget afterwards. However, the main reason in watching feel-good movie is definitely to feel good, appreciate art, and enjoy leisure and not to witness one-of-a-heck selfish acts of people behind the film or editing team. I feel sorry for Hugh Jackman. I hope his movie will still pay-off his efforts.
I will still watch the final cut of this movie. I hate Victor by the way!
