Another fag insulted our nation, our countrymen and even our own selves. After my 7-day vacation, I suddenly forgot what’s happening to the real world. But, that’s the beauty of vacation leave, you are given the chance not to think of anything stressful and just genuinely enjoy it.

I checked my emails (which I should reply, but only mark them as read emails), I received an email from one of my friends about a Chinese columnist who vulgarly called the Philippines as “Nation of Servants”. The initial reaction to this? An absolute hideous anger that you suddenly want to tear this fag apart. Look at the bright side, maybe he’s referring to as “Servants of God.”

I honestly can’t take the insults from this self-declared columnist. Is he, with his fellow Chinese perfect human beings that were given rights to derange the unsung hearts of our countrymen?

I suddenly did some self-reflections why bunch of assholes were treating us like rags and ribs. This is not the first time we’ve been publicly insulted by a foreigner. Who will forget Claire Dane’s words on calling our country as Land of Cockroaches or the Teri Hatcher’s spill on “Some Med-Schools in the Philippines”? Even our fellow countrymen affronted us – a fat ass, Malu Fernandez was one of them.

Anyway, I just feel sad about this. This will not discourage me in anyway to give up my Nationalistic Pride of being a Filipino. It might have a lot of disadvantages and slurs, but I couldn’t be happier if I’m not one.
