I’m a fan of Canon. Why? I just recently bought a Canon DSLR and from the moment I see, buy and use it, I fell in love with it. I am now in the “bright” side, when I chose Canon over Nikon.
Anyway, just this February 2009, the slimmest camera ever was launched in UK by Jessops. This 12.1-Megapixel digitals bring a new meaning to the compact cameras. What? 12 MP? My Canon EOS 450D is about the same 12.2 MP.
The Canon IXUS 100 IS is super compact; so small (18.4mm thick) indeed that it can be tucked almost anywhere. It has three times optical zoom and a new Smart Auto Mode based on Canon’s DIGIC 4 processor and Scene Detection Technology.
This comes also with a wide-angle lens and wide LCD screen and is suitable for wide-screen HD movie recording. (I don’t even can record on my SLR)
The user interface on the 100 IS has an innovative feature. When the camera is moved slightly during playback, automatic scrolling is activated.
The initial market price of this cutie-gizmo is at ₤299. Did I make a wrong decision for buying my SLR? Hmmmmm…….
